Smoothies

Lately I have really been feeling motivated to take better care of myself. So I have been researching clean eating diet practices and effective workout routines that I can fit into my busy schedule. Thanks to my Pinterest addiction, I have been able to find tons of delicious and healthy recipes to start making. Among my quest to better myself, I came across one of the most delicious smoothies I have ever tasted. The creator of this smoothie, Iowa Girl Eats, calls it is the Green Monster Spinach Smoothie, and it is not only really nutritious, but it tastes amazing! Upon first look of any sort of green drink, I usually run away in terror out of fear that it will taste like grass. Little did I know that sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too. To me it almost tastes like banana pudding, my absolute favorite dessert, so I have been starting to incorporate these into my daily routine.

Okay enough of my rambling, here is the easy and delicious recipe:

1 frozen sliced banana (peel and slice before freezing)
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Chobani Greek yogurt
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze, or another kind of milk
4 cups baby spinach

Then all you need to do is combine the ingredients in a blender until well mixed, and enjoy your delicious and nutritious snack!

The aftermath... it was too yummy that I devoured most
of it before I remembered to take a picture of it

Feel free to share your favorite smoothie recipes, I am always interested in trying out new ones!
